Online Training Course

Earn continuing education hours anytime, anywhere! BPI, in conjunction with Utah State University, offers a new 6-hour online training course. In this course, instructor Russell Thornburg examines many aspects of wood framing construction including codes and standards, as outlined by the IRC. Course is applicable to contractors, building inspectors, plan reviewers, and professional designers.

This is only a video snippet. To access the full online video training course, register below.

This course will cover many aspects of residential wood framing construction from floors, to walls, to roof-ceiling construction. The participants will have many opportunities to review code language, along with some reference standards, needed to evaluate structural integrity and determine the intent of the code. We will view many illustrations, examples of both good and bad framing, that we’ll use for open discussions.
